I want another transmission with closer gears than my A1 teg tranny, but it's so hard to find cable ones. Is there any conversion "kit" that I can buy so I can have a hydro tranny in my rex? I don't want to spend $500 for Hasport mounts so I can use a hydro tranny (I won't have much left for my tranny). Do I have to buy entirely new mounts because some of the mounting parts look identical for both hydro and cable trannies.

Right now I'm using Hasport motor mounts for cable trannies. It's an '89

if you are using hasport mounts - you can buy just the pass tranny mount and the conversion linkage.
