Default Will a B16 alternator work with my '88?

I don't know too much about cars, but

I need a new alternator for my '88 CRX, and I found a B16. Will this alternator work with my engine? It's a factory engine

Thanks.

George

I believe the mounts are slightly off and you'd need the original wire from a b16 that pluged into the alt then splice it into the factory wiring. In general, NO B Series parts can be swapped with D series engines and in vise versa. BTW your engine, if from factory, is a D series. - Darrell
