Desided to go ahead and get rid of the stupid auto tensioner on my 00 lude, and convert to the manual. Iv got all the part numbers from the collectiveracing link, but was just wondering: does the new part that the timing belt rides on actuall just adjust like the balance belt on the end does. Slides up and down then you lock it down after turning the engine over once? Does it work pretty well, reliable, keeps the belt tight etc.. Appreciate the info. just double checkin.
