Possible to swap DC5 hubs onto a DC2?
I did a search already so if this has been covered I appoligize.
Does anyone know if you can swap the hubs from a DC5 or an 03+ EP3 onto a DC? This would allow you to have a five lug suspension and a 10.2 rotor and possibly be cheaper than a wilwood set-up or a type r conversion.
TIA

that's just for the brakes, and that's what made me wonder. Thanks though

Have you thought about getting prelude hubs instead? ( not sure if they would bolt on or not ) I know they share the same bolt pattern as the type R ( if its the more recent years like hte 97s and up ). Not even sure if its the same part number. But I'm sure researching this would answer your questions or if anyone has a definite answer
If they do work then all you'd have to do is go get the front hub pressed out of your existing front knuckles and press in the prelude ones and just swap out hubs in the rear ( the 4 star bolts attaching the hub to the rear trailing arms and the one spindle nut ). Becareful on those star bolts though.....they are prone to stripping...and if that happens, you'll have to remove the entire trailing arm to get the hub off.....( I know coz I had to do it myself with the type r 5 lug conversion
)
