Default b20 v tech

on a b20 bone stock with a v tech head what are the hp and torque ratings....sorry i wouda searched myself but my computer is full of spyware.....thanks a lot guys.

It's "VTEC" not "Vtech".

you know at the bottom how it has those ad things,well when he posted about vtech it has an advertisement for vtech 5.8ghz cordless phones....lol!!!

A lot of it depends on the build/builder. I have seen some dyno at less than a B16's output, and then some others that had crazy numbers.

There are no set power ratings for a motor like that..All depends on the builder,etc

And its vtec,not v-tech

It is short for "Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control" dude.

I am not tring to call everone out, but you hear some really off the wall stuff when you ask some " hard core honda guys" what V-tec stands for.

Yeah, I knew this kid once who swore that the "VTEC" in his Accord was when the pistons went into race mode and caused a bigger combustion.

To the original poster, I reccommend going into the hybrid forum and asking some of those guys. They can give you some insight on what would be the best approach.

The best is when they try to make up crap on the spot by using the letters V-T-E-C. I mostly get Valve timing electronic controled, good one. Even better is when you ask how does all that cool stuff work. I even had a guy tell me his power steering reservoir was his V-tec juice.
