did you get a resistor box and run the wiring to your ecu for the other 2 injectors? Also add wires to distributor?

I know this may sound stupid...but can on confirm it is not firing? Pull the spark plug out, have the wire hooked up to and it laying on the block, crank, see if it fires. Does it fire?

Next, can you confirm you have fuel delievery into the cylinders? Key on several times, remove sparkplug, and sign/smell of fuel?

Let is know that first, maybe we can help. I understand how it sucks too! I did an MPFI swap, first time unsucessful, it spoiled my week. Stick it out until the end, and get back to us with those answers.

Best of luck!!

Ok I really still think its the wiring.

I'm acutally the one who dropped this motor in for him but I didn't want to do the wiring since I never owned a dpfi car for this reason.

He got a conversion harness off ebay, and he seems to think it should be plug and play and no other wiring is needed, I seem to think that there is still a bit of wiring to do. On the passenger side of my Si, I have 3 plugs by the fuse box, on his STD it has 2. But then on his conversion harness it has 4 plugs. Also, we didnt repin anything into the ecu plugs either, and im almost positive some of that stuff needs to be pinned.

Max, I really think you should try to contact the guy you got the conversion harness from and ask him what else is needed to be done to complete the conversion.

thats yoru problem. you didnt change the ecu pins around liek you were suppose to.

there is 2 sides to that conversion harness he bought. what did he plug the other side into ?

go find a mpfi swap guide and follow that. dont mess it anything else before you mess it up. put it back to stock and then start over

what do you mean two sides? Do you mean 1 side should go to the ecu? Maybe that is what the 4th plug is for on the passenger side, like a jumper harness that goes to the ecu?

That's what I'd do.

If this is just a DPFi to MPFi then I'd find a good guide, and there are plenty of them, and start over. I wouldn't use the conversion harness.
