Any Body have any ideas for Port & Polish??
I'm looking for a decent port & polish job, anyone know a price approx.? my friend who works at this place where they do machining, port etc... about 300$ CDN is that a good deal, just trying to find out some info.
If they have never worked on Hondas, you can pay them to f*ck up your head for you. Or you can go and do it yourself for free and get the same results. 300CDN for a port job sounds pretty big block to me. And a pretty low price for that.
i run a small machine shop on the side for our race cars..ill cut you a deal..ill do it for $175 and when it is done you put my name on your car and tell everyone how good of a job i did..i do this everyday on our race motors,i have about 6 yrs experience and tech school under my belt..if interested email me at umax942003@aol.com

"our" ?? who is "our" i only see you.
as for the thread starter, make sure the guy actually machining your head has experience, and knows what he's doing... otherwise you're just going to have a conversation piece for your coffee table.

our is us,potter motorsports..we have three cars we race,as well as build engines, chassis, and any sort of interior fabrication..we also do circle track cars as well...
taob--might i clarify i have done more then jusy MY personal team engines..i have engines in merced california, arizona, new york,as well as here in the midwest,I DO know what i am doing,i wouldnt just come on here and talk out my *** for the pure fun of it like some others i have seen on here..
rival, there are three different stages i could do on your car,if it doesnt have alot of internal work i would just do the first stages like getting rid of the casting flaws and opening up the ports a little and shrouding them in the valve area..also i would dimple the combustion area and swirl polish it..
