Default 88-89 Integra Pistons vs. stock A6

Im debating if I should take apart my 200,000 mile a6 block and put 88-89 integra pistons that have a bigger dome on em in or just rock the motor and add an exospeed cam? I kinda feel its not worth taking the block apart to just put in Integra pistons, but it will be a little quicker and new seals/gaskets...let me no what ya think

id stick with ur current setup and pick up and extra block so u can get the work done on the side, unless the motor is already out of the car. but yes id get them, its an easy way to bump up the compression.

i was going to do the same but a mini me a a6 block and a z6 head and d16a1 pistons people said the compression would be like 13:1 and if i put a y8 head on it would be 14:1 i am going n/a so ill give it a try but im scared i would blow my motor with that high of compression so its up to you think about it

If you want that extra bump in HP, use the D16a1 pistons And you can add a cam if you have the cash. It's all up to you

i was considering doing this to my d16a6 that is out of my car as well. my only concern is that the engine may need bored because of the mileage (195,000), thus i would need new pistons. does anyone know if these old engines are wore enough to need bored?
