Question about k20a ECU.
Okay, I bought a k20a ECU off of a drunk kid at a party last night for $20. Afterwards I noticed that written on it on the side it said "K20A Auto". Is there a way to tell if it is an auto or a 5spd? The numbers on it are: 37820-PNC-904
Written on the top is, RF3, 2002, K20A. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the k20's, so any help is appreciated. Also, how much does one of these go for? I couldn't find any for sale on here or eBay, but I know it's worth more than $20. Thanks guys.

It appears that Hondata K-Pro is available for:
PRA - Euro Type R all models 02-05
PRB - US RSX 02-04 (05 model not supported)
PRC - Japanese DC5 Integra Type R
PRD - Japanese Civic Type R,
PNF - 2002 + Civic Si
PND -A0# - US RSX Base RSX 5 speed
PPA -A0# - 2002 + CRV 5 speed
So it isn't any of them. Hondata notes that K-Pro will not work on any automatics
Hondata says that their base RSX auto reflash will work for
"Any K20A3 Auto RSX owner with the ECU part numbers :
* PND A51 through PND ***"
PNC isn't listed anywhere in there, so I have no idea what that ECU is for

Care to explain this further? Like I said, I don't know anything when it comes to K-series stuff.

Okay, I just got off the phone with someone at Hondata, and he said he's never heard that code before and neither has anyone else there.
Anybody else have any ideas on who would know what this is?

So it'll still work with a 5spd. tranny, right? That's good to know. The only reason I bought the damn thing was to sell it for a nice profit, so as long as I can still sell it I'm happy. I'd just like to know what it's out of first.

maybe it's for one of the other sibling cars that we don't get here in the states......DC5 platform is also for the Honda Fit isn't it?

All i can tell you is that Hondata *CannoT* flash the k20a ECU. I had to flash my k20a3 ecu when i dropped the k20a into my car.
If i wanted to use the stock program on the k20a ECU I would have needed to send it out and have the Key immobilizer disabled. Your code does not match my k20a ECU code either. Good luck on your search.
