Default Valve cover bolt, Some oil?

Hey guys, i have a 1996 Integra b18b with 75k on it, I noticed some oil on the front of the motor by where it says b18b.. I hope its not a head gasket, but i have had to drive it on a few days where its been -35 celcius.. so maybe that could be the problem..

Than the next issue is i was torquing down the valve cover bolt, and broke it, im pretty sure i can get it out with vice grips, but i was wondering is anyone knew the thread pitch and major diameter, so i could get a new one...

Thanks for all the help.. Jason

As for the valve cover bolt, just use vise grips to get them out and go to the dealer. They sell those bolts. Trust me, lol I did the same thing you did to mine! As for the oil problem. Sorry I dont know what that could be. Didnt have that problem.

WideBody ITR: Are they head studs that your'e missing? Or valve cover studs? If they are the head studs, then yes you have a problem and need to install new ones, When you do, you should install all new head studs with the old ones as well and it is very recomemded you get a new headgasket.

If there's not enough to grab with the vise grips, a screw/ bolt extractor should get it out. You need to get it out to even retap. I got mine for about $4 too.

hmm... about the valve cover bolt, just remove the valve cover then remove the broken stud with a 10mm socket and replace that stud.

listen to this guy. there NOOOOO need to use a tap or vice grip to get the broken stud out. just take off the valve cover which wil take like 2 mins, use a deep 10mm socket or 10mm wrench and remove the broke stud and install a new one. when u r put n the valve cover back on, those nuts only need to be hand tighted. dont Overtighten them. there famous for breaking!
