I had a over-heated Si head that I had on the car before. I got the head decked after I warped the DX head I was using. Now the car will over heat with a new therostat and everything the way it was before !! I'm thinking maybe the the head is cracked.

How many people on here have heard of or had a cracked D16 head ?

Tried everything... radiator cap.... I even pulled the head again to see if I blew the HG, but it was fine.... The radiator hoses get all super presurized like a blow HG, but it'll over heat idling and not even getting any boost !!!

 

There was a hairline crack on my old std's head..

yea, I tried the cap off my accord too.... samething... Only over heats when the cap is off ( cap is not only new, but my accord cap is deffinately good ).
