buying coilover question?

Default buying coilover question?

im about to buy a set of gc coilovers and i was wondering if gettin them from ebay would be alright or should i just pay the extra 60-70 dollars and get it directly from ground control. thanks

i bought bomz coilovers from ebay. haven't put them on yet, but its just like buying from them, but your getting it at closer to wholesale price. i'd go ebay if i were you. just make sure everything comes with it

When you get the GC coilovers from ebay you get a generic rate..

But when you order them from ground control you can get custom spring rates in incrimates(spelling) of 25lb+/-

Also alot of people of on ebay sell ground control syle coilovers and not the real thing so be carefull of that..

i was lookin at gc site today and was tryin find where i can customlize the spring rates and it didnt really show nethin. all it really said was 88-91 ... is that the correct spring rate?

when u put em on tell me how they ride , i might just get some similiar if it rides clean but i heard alot of good **** about gc so thats my choice for now and ill probley end up ording them.

that's the year of your car man.. anyways, I'd go with ebay someon with good feedback they won't send fake ****.. usually the real stuff cost more than no brands. and it doesn't really matter even if it was generic its like 20% less ride comfort but you save like 50%. well I dont know my advice is get ebay stuff, used stuff, or cheap stuff.

I would personally pay the extra money and order them from GC in order to choose the rate I wanted. You will also have to specify the shock you are using because GC has different sleeves depending on the shock. At least find out what the rates are from ebay before you buy.

im goin to say no on that, cut springs suck my springs were cut in my rex when i bought it and it bouced all over the road

Cut springs are dangerous,ride horrible,and make the car handle worse then stock..
