Well, that's how it's supposed to work.
People want to sell something, they are supposed to post in the classifieds and make a link in a particular related forum to generate proper interest.
You as a potential buyer are supposed to check the classifieds FIRST, then the specific related forum SECOND to see if what you are looking for is available.
NOT post various Want To Buy or Looking For various parts posts.
Now, stay with me before you get all offended.

There are reasons that Trial Members can't post in the Classifieds, the most of which is the problem of scamming, which still happens from time to time, Even when the rules are followed.
But when the rules are followed, there's an added bit of protection for the buyer that the seller must provide specific information and follow the Classifieds Forum Rules. The Classifieds forum moves extremely fast but also has active moderation that closely follows and governs it's operation to keep the problems to a minimum for Both the Buyer And the Seller.
Let's all have a big group hug, and take your future business to the proper forums and do it all the way it's supposed to be done. Not just for yourselves for Everyone.

just saying bro.. classified go way to fast.. by the end of the day i'll be in the 10th page... i figuered most of the itr guys in here could help a fellow R out.. like hungsteR johnny5sTypeR LSVtecITR Tomcat who all saw my post and replied.. i didnt want to put up with all the buy my dc.. etc tie bar when i post in the classifieds.. thanks

if we didnt have these rules this board whould be chaos
you should thank the mods for doing such a good job cleaning the board up
and making it so easy to use and not cluttered instead of bitching because you actually have to do somthing and keep an eye on your thread and keep it at the top of the page

The classifeds are absolutely ridiculous - there are no subcategories so your part ends up on page three in less than an hour.

Your absolutely right. However, you pinned me for something I didn't do. Who are you to single me out? Go back to what I originally posted and tell me where I said I would sell this guy some lower tie bars? You will not find it because I never said I would. So where did you come up with this?
All I did was leave a smart *** remark to the person who started the thread. Nothing else. Like an "I have, and you don't".
Since we're going to be all proper in the forums how about we have all the users remove all the parts they have listed in their SIGS? Put them in the classifieds.
Though I value your opinion and understand your concern, I feel you blew something completely stupid out of context. Fact of the matter is, someone needed something specific, why not start at the source instead of dealing with a pointless classifieds section that gets so much traffic that the original post is five pages back by the time you go to bed?
Every now and then I sell Type R parts so what is the harm in making a classifieds add then linking it to a thread in the Type R forum where the part would more than likely be of more value due to the fact that other people who more than likely own a Type R would see the topic?

If you look at the R main page, there were easily more than 3 to even 5 WTB or For Sale posts earlier when this post was made originally today.
I'm the king of being a wise-*** I admit that, but am aware of this forum falling into a negative spin with newer membership in the last few months. It's entirely possible that they just may not know the TOS or rules and or how things operate. And they need to be guided, and I will help when and where I can with these matters.

Because if you take a look at this forum from day to day you will notice more and more FS and WTB postings and they keep growing every day. If we tolerate this more and or even joke about it flippantly they will continue to grow unchecked.
If someone has an issue with what's available or not, or how fast the classifieds forum moves then maybe that someone should contact the moderators of the classifieds forum.
