S2000 Tires.
I just recently bought a pair of S2000 wheels to put on my Legend. I was wondering what is the widest tire you can run on the 6.5" wheels and then the largest for the 7.5" wheels.
I believe I should be able to fit a 225 on the 6.5" wheel and a 245 orr 255 on the 7.5" wheel.
For racing I will run the 7.5" on the front and 6.5" on the rear and for daily driving 7.5" rear and 6.5" since I have FWD. Im looking to run 555R's on the 7.5" wheels. Nitoo only offers 245/50/16 so that should be my coice for those wheels, but what do you recomend on the 6.5" wheels... Sticky for daily driving but not looking for a drag tire. But I would like something wider than a 205 since I make about 350 to the flywheel.

why this combo for daily? i can see a point if it was only drag. yours is a daily driver

My only thought it, what difference does it make?
If you put a 245 on that 7.5" wheel or a 255 series tire on it, you're still going to have the same contact patch, unless you alter tire pressure or the weight of your vehicle. So, you're not gaining any more "traction" but doing this.

I make just under 300whp and I need a nice contact patch for drag. I could just run the 7.5" in the front always but obviously b/c of the offset the 7.5" looks better in the rear. But I want to runn a Nitto NEo Gen 225/50/16 in the front and have DECENT hook on the street and on the 7.5" I will run a 555R. When I go to the track I will run the 7.5" tires in the front with the 555R (245/50/16) for good traction and good ET's. @ the track it will most likely be 28psi on the 555R's. And when I drive on the street and swap them back to the rear I will have them inflated around 38-40psi while running the 225/50/16 Neo Gen on the 6.5" rims inflated to only about 34-36psi on the street. Do you guys think this is feasible? So a Nitto 225/50/16 Neo Gen will work on the 6.5" wheel and the 245/50/16 on the 7.5" wheel?
