JDM D15B VTEC head
I just bought my 88 CRX yesterday and it already has a SOHC ZC swapped in it. I was wondering if I could use the D15B VTEC head to build a mini-me. I have tried to search for a good write up but I am stumped. Thanks in advance

I thought all the d15b vtec engines were 3-stage vtec. Because if they were different, they would make different power numbers. Thats why the d16y5 makes 10 hp less than the y8, because of the 3-stage vtec

and they a;; arent 3 stage, only the ones that came from the ek's were. the generation that you will find the most came from the eg and those only have the regular vtec stage.
and yea the cam in the d15b is more agressive than the one in the d16z6 and is comparable to the zex cam.
