Brake Fluid. Boiling. Brake Pads. On Fire.
I was touring the backroads with my friend (s2000) this evening and i was running pretty hard. When we got to the end, my break pedal was super mushy. He got out and told me to go easy on my brakes, because he could smell them all the way down the course.
He explained to me that my brake fluid was boiling and that my pads were on fire. Im new to all this, so I am asking what kind upgrades can I do to prevent this?
My driving style is very smooth, but when I brake, I break pretty hard. Should I change my driving style? It works pretty well for me.

Better/bigger rotors. Better pads motoul 5.1 fluid.
But remember even top of the line parts will still heat up and fade. Yes even on F1 cars they can run into this.

Well this might be better asked in the s2000 forum as they will know who makes what for the s2000
With that said. EBC makes some really nice rotos and pads. Also Hawk makes some goos pads. Brembo has both slotted and regular rotos. Also look into some stainless brake lines (earls lines) or talk to a local shop and see if they will make some for ya. Motul 5.1 fluid has a higher boiling point.
