Default JDM D15B OBD Conversion Question

I'm purchasing a JDM D15B VTEC in a month or so. I decided on this engine because I wanted to stay D Series w/ stock mounts and various other reasons including the fact that it's a daily driver and, although my bro's B16 CRX is impressive, I still enjoy being able to go about town with quiet, smooth ease. Also, there's an engine importer nearby me that has them at the shop for cheap. I don't need to fly... I just can't stand the D15B1 anymore

Anyways I know I'm going to have to go OBD1 for this swap. I can get a harness from a guy on H-T that I've already spoken with, but is there any other options? I know, for instance, people making OBD1 GSR and B16A motors into OBD0 for eisier install by swapping dizzy and couple of other things, but then the thought ocurred to me that there were no VTEC D-Series OBD0 engines so then I assume there would be an ECU / VTEC activation problem.

Who has done JDM D15B ED installs and what have you done (maybe as possible OBD avoidances) I'm not trying to rule out the OBD conversion, just wondering if there are any other options to consider. Also do you like them? Was it worth it? What transmissions are you running? (I plan on Si hopefully)

Also another quick question, I know that the JDM D15B VTEC is just basically like the USDM D16Z6. What are the differences, just the crank? What takes away that .1 liter.

Thanks in advance!

the d15b has a more agressive cam. Do yourself the favor and convert to obd1. Its worth it big time. Tuning will bea easier and you are already getting all the obd1 components in this swap. So all you gotta di is add a cnversion harness and your ready to go. Its a good swap and its a good base if you later wanna go turbo....BTW: Where are you on long island?

yea, I know about the advantages for Turbo OBD1. The more I look the better the idea sounds.

all your gonna need is the harness. IF you buy the full engine it comes with everything else. I got a guy who for 120 will get you a p28 ecu chipped and ready for uberdata also. I ran a turbo obd0 and I ditched the setup.
