My friend is giving away a free itr shell that was involved in an accident. there is no motor, suspension, or interior, but the glass, etc is still there.

The car is currently in my friends name (obviously not registered) and he can have it transfered to your name.

Mike ~ It looks like someone just *found* the post on CSi. I don't think they're friends (he lives in VA and the guy with the shell is in CA). Just a FYI. I would e-mail one of the two addresses on the bottom of what was pasted.

Does anyone know where to locate an ITR shell? It's sad but true that there have to be hundreds of them with so many thefts. I wonder if I could contact an insurance company to buy a recovered theft shell. I am planning on taking part in a heart transplant for a needy shell. 3's a charm!

 

99% of the time the windshield will break as soon as you try to take it out.

 

Why is that?

 

glass is wack like that, i used to have some friends that worked at a hockey rink and i would go visit em afterhours sometimes...and sometimes they would have to take down some of the glass to get big items into the place...when putting the glass back if it wasnt held at the exact perfect angle it would just immediately explode...they had to use special suction cup things to put it up...
