Default 2002 Civic Type R

How could you make a car like this legal in the USA?
It's cheap and shipping is only $900 to the US.

What do you guys think?

I think you would spend less money making a USDM EP3 into a CTR.

Buy a dirt cheap usdm ep3. Then go and buy a ep3 front clip in which it comes with everything including suspension and bumper and seats and wheels. Then you go to work and convert everything over to j spec. will be cheaper in the end just alot of work.

Getting the car in the US is one thing. Registering it is a whole different story. (at least in Cali)

The only thing I can think of to making your RHD legal would be to buy someone's crashed US car and swap all of the ID#'s and paperwork.

EP3 with k20a2 with hondata would be a way better way of making a legal type-r. And no rhd hassels!

Heh heh heh

I also heard that in some states you can register the car but you need import paperwork and you must make the car pass the American safety regulations. I heard it costs around $5000.00 or so by the time you are all said and done,
