Default repainting vehicle

has anyone here completely stripped their rex down for a full repaint?

My rex is in near mint condition with the exception of a tiny smidget of rust forming on the rear left wheelwell. I was hoping to get someone to fix the rust, I would remove the engine all related items in engine bay, replace my front cross member (it was slightly bent from the previous owner's car accident), and remove all plastic trims, windows, and other related moldings and get the paint shop to paint the body, door seams and engine bay.

I was quoted something stupid like 6K to repaint my car but I think that if I can find someone to do it for me I bet I could get it painted for around 2k if I did all the dismantling work.

Also my car is r63 rio red and i was thinking of painting it to milano red. I find rio red having a bit too much orange in it. Integra/prelude milano red is so sexy...

What do you guys think I should do to restore my car to (just out of factory look)?

thanks a million
