I am sitting at work right now surfing H-T and came to the conclusion that I do truly love my rex more than my type R hybrid EG hatch....


I wanna give my car a hug right now... LOL

 

I celebrated my 2 year anniversary of buying my car( in my car) With engine a new cleaning, fuel treatment, new oil, filter, She's getting new tires and new windshield. I love my car. My gf constantly tells me she's gonna loose me to my crx......she's wrong....but oh so right. j/k. Love is the quinticential description in my mind when i hear crx. Even if i see a beat up one....i still go...awww man i would take that under my garage and fix it up.

Yeah i agree i really love my car.....whenever i park and get out of it,i always look back for like 5 minutes until i get to wherever i am walking to....lol

 

yeah i know... i think of my rex everyday when I wake up, when I'm tired, when i'm hungry when i'm sleeping.... my brother just hates the ef's b/c he tells me that they're pain in the *** for parts and swaps aren't as easy as a eg or dc1/2. Two seater isn't practical and blah blah blah... he built up a super powerful EG hatch and then sold it to me before leaving the country and although i love that car too I don't have the same love for it as the rex.

I admit usdm ef's suck for swaps b/c honda chintzed out on the engine mounts and power features. I am in search of another rex when I have money and when I'm done my degree....

the rex in my eyes is a unique honda classic....

 

I have owned over 20 cars and the CRX that I now own I have owned since I was 16(Now 21) and I would never part with her.
I have invested thousands upon thousands of dollors, I got a huge pile of recipts pushing well over 12,000 just invested and the real funny part that proves my love of her is I have not drove it in over 3 years but I still dump all this money.
My GSR is just a "car" to me compared to my crx.

Ya... I agree.

My friends that are not Honda guys ask what kind of car I would drive if I had to keep it forever... They all say M5, Porche GT, Mclaren, exc. And I still say my rex. Sure there is a couple things that I would change (not many) but I truly love it .

I am with you, even with all the money in the world I would not want a high end exotic, they dont impress me.
A stock CRX Si with a short shifter, act clutch and a good complete suspension setup can offer more fun then any car out there.
The CRX is a true drivers car if you ask me

 

I've had 7 crx's, and still own 2 now. In 10 years, i'll still own my 89 Si, what a great car! I don't want to be one of those peolpe that sold the great car of their youth, and then talk about how much i miss it for the next 20 years, like people my parents age do.

I own a new rsx too, but its nothing like the crx. The fun factor in driving the crx is still at the top of my list.

 

Wow, I thought I was the only one. I love my CRX. I will go peek in the garage at it sometimes and walk away thinking "dang i love my car" haha. They do sometimes have their problems but man, they will treat you good if you treat them good.

 

There really is something special about it. The color? no... The handling? mm.... no.... The lack of rear seat? nope.... The hatch? nah...... The beauty? ah yes, thats it....

i love my crx...definately never gonna depart from my family of crx's...i've been asked if i'm ever gonna move on to a newer car even with sufficient fundings for a new one....but i always say..i'm ALAWAYS gonna own my ED9...for the rest of my life.....i love my crx

same here guys, and i have 4. only 2 of them run, and im tearing the other 2 down. ill post some pics soon, ive had a couple cars before it, but i wont have any after it. but we should all thank the rsx and the o3 si, cause with them, come basically a blood transfusion for in a couple years bseries stuff will be harder to find and more and more of us will go with the kseries, or whatever the next generation honda 4cyl is, none the less, whateve it may be, im sure someone will make a mount kit for it, to keep our cars alive and renewed.

Hasport has already made prototype mounts for the CRX, Thtas what I am doing next winter

 

i also love my crx , i constantly get in arguments with peope who try to tell me they are ugly and old

 

I REALLY LOVE MY CRX!

 

everyone at my dealership says that I am to big for my crx, that it is ugly, that it is old. and all of the other bullshit that everyone has heard 100x time over.

But there is something there. She is perfect, in everyway, even with her cracked heart. But she is getting a new one put in pretty soon. Actually we are not on speaking terms due to me having her knew heart and not having it put in for 3 months now. I am getting ready to take her new heart for some work to Dr. DPR. It is her Valentine Day present. Fresh CTR pistons, CTR cams, Ferrea springs and retainers, and hot tanked with all new ARP bolts. She will talk to me then. Gosh, she is sucha spoiled brat!

 

i do...i had a couple people offer me to buy it but its just soo hard to sell, even though im looking to get another one anyway....sorry guys the crx is my first car.....its kinna hard to let go even though its ugly and all fcuked up....

 

its my favorite honda out there followed by the 88-91 hatch. besides the characteristics of the rex its my favorite because its the honda u dont see on the road everyday. and i do the same thing, when i walk away i always look back to check it out.

 

Ive had my car for two years.. Ive driven other cars, but nothing feels as great as my lil rex. If we didnt really love our cars, we wouldnt be here, right? Ive had more than a few ppl asking me to sell her and I always say no (one of them being the mailman, who keeps asking everytime he sees me washing her). Buy more, yes.. sell, no.

Ive wanted a crx since i was 10 i saw one and i loved it i didnt know ne thing about it except for that beautiful lettering in the taillight CRX it got burned in my mind when i turned 16 i went car hunting found a few crxs that were all rice but i didnt the difference but i couldn't get a loan for ne them, i ended up buying a 94 accord, last year i found my baby out in Wyo where my friend was at school he called me and told me there was a rex for sale, he said it was in need of a lil tlc, but the good news that it had a ls swap wit a s1 trans, and he wanted a 1000 for it so i went and got it, its broke like every week on me but i dont care its the car ive always wanted......long live the ef scene!?!??

 

had my baby since i was 15 and its been breaking down every since!! still love it though first car was my first love

 

i get really sad when i see a crx at the junkyard and almost stripped to nothing.
