Have question about swap
I have a 1990 CRX Si that we are putting a B18B with a B20B head on it, but my question is the Transmission. Some one told me that I can use the stock Si transmission with that engine setup. I was wondering if that was true or not and if anyone has done it. Thank you.
no u cant, u need to get a 90-93 teg tranny, or the hasport hydro to cable tranny, then u can run any hydro b-series tranny.
u do realize the b18 and b20 head are the same (exception of p8r) and the b18b manual tranny cams are the most agressive and have proven to be a 7 hp increase on the dyno

no you can't use your Si tran.. you need a cable B-series trans. you can get one from a 90-93 integra, or a JDM one with quicker gears.
man, LSturboEH2 just beat me to it. I was in the middle of writing mine reply.
