Should I go at my car with an orbital sander?
Alright guys here's the deal
I dont know if any of you remember me telling you guys that I had bought an EG shell that has been primered with spray cans. I do plan to eventually paint the car soon, but no way on that spray can primer.
So I wanted to remove the **** from the car and I was thinking of renting an orbital sander and hitting the primer with that to reveal stock paint. I do have a couple questions though...
1.) I havne't used an orbital sander before. Would a novice do more damage than good by using an orbital sander?
2.) What grit should I use to remove the primer?
3.) Will using an orbital sander cause there to be waves that I want be able to see? I dont want to have a paintjob thats hella wavey. Any tips for me before I jump into things?
