right, unless he is talking about the DOHC, which I wouldnt have though of that since the norm when talking about F series is their lack of dual cam-ness. And I figured that he was talking about the H23 non-vtec. People have to be a little more specific sometimes. Would a better answer been 'one is a 2.2 and one is a 2.3'? You gotta calm down ZigenBalls, its not like I am spreading mis-information, I am totally right in what I am saying, the question just wasnt asked as it should have, if it would have been I would have given the same answer.. Theres 3 F22Bs (SOHC SOHC-VTEC and DOHC-VTEC) and 2 types of H23s (DOHC and DOHC VTEC.)

'F22B - SOHC 16v - Disp: 2156'

The F22a, F22b, and H23 all use the same crankshaft, bearings, and rods. The only differnce is the F22a and b have an 85mm bore, while the H23 uses an 87mm bore. All the F series and H series bottom ends are almost identical. Personally i dont see what the big deal about dual cams is. Yeah, they free up a few hp compared to a single cam, but hey guess what, even with one of those motors in an accord your accord will still be slow, unless your using some sort of forced induction. Also with dual cams you are a lot more likely to have problems with cams going out of wack in the higher rpms, jumping t belts... As far as i'm concerned 1 cam is a lot less parts/metal then 2 cams. Unless you plan on making 1000hp, any single cam head cam be modified to perform the same as a twin cam head.
