I have a quick question I was unable to find through a search.

Is there any difference between the black housing and silver/chrome housing headlights? other then color? and option of HID?

no.....but I don't recall the HID option coming in the chrome housing headlight though.

To be more clear on this, black housing headlights ( to include the HIDs ) came only on the type R. The chrome housing headlights were on all other integras.
