Why not support your local Dealer? Wouldn't it be nice to have a face to deal
with if you have a prob or need service rather than a voice that could really
give a rats about what you purchased from them ( they just man the phones)
The sad fact is that most of the super deals really aren't that great after
all.
Thats my .02

Thats my .02</TD></TR></TABLE> Ditto all that, the other thing is warranty, I have yet to find an online dealer , evan if they are authorized dealers and can offer manufacturers warranty, that they will pay for shipping, as a retail dealer we, [at our shop] offer over the counter exchange, for the first 30 days, as most defects will show up within a few days, we also give a lifetime warranty on the install, [ if we install it],if you have a problem, you just have to show up, you don't need an appointment, its called customer service, and you can't get that off a computer screen, You need a person , [salesman/woman or installer] that has a vested interest in keeping you happy, like audioroach said............. the person on the other end of a phone or screen will not give a rats *** about you.

Alpine? Crutchfield? LIFETIME WARRANTY? Who lied to you? If its true, i wanna see it in writing. Only mobile electronics i've ever seen with lifetime warranty are security products (alarms, remote starts, etc.) and i've been in the car electronics business for going on 4 years.
