Te slide thing under the vent near the door. I dont know what it does, its kinda been bugging me. I thought it migh be for outside air, but there is a button for that on the controls. Can anyone tell me?

It lets outside air in, open it when your driving, you will feel it.

 

You can tell when air from the outside is let in, because it will be cooler than the air in your car. At least it is on my CRX.

 

opens just that vent to outside air, so you can have heat on and still bring in cold air though that vent

 

mine is clogged

 

Mine is stuck open. I found it to be a handy way to route wiring thru, guess my wiring got too big and broke something when I tried to slide it back shut, oh well one hand gets cold. Consider blocking it off if I ever do anything to the b16.

yea i thought my vent was broken then i slid that over
