Default Need recomendation on HID's

You guys out there with HID's on your ITR either USDM or JDM fronts, which brand do you recomend other than JDM 98 spec HID (cause I can't afford those, especially after an conversion, that's if I decided to go that route ). Wanna get HID's for my R but can't decide, cause I have really never seen them lit in real life in an integra other than pictures. Can ya'll throw me your 2 cents...

Thanks

How would you guys compare the Phillips 6000k to, like the bmw, lexus, acura, audi, & etc. I was gunning for something like s2000, but from what I hear from alot of the HT members, I should go with Phillips.... I also heard there like 900 bucks for the 6000k's, wow... I also heard of a company called auto light or something like that, the're very nice aswell & rather inexpensive.

Thanks for the replies...hehehe.. keep'em comin

Dan (God) told me over the phone that they did a test with BMW or Benz HIDs in the ITR housing and the blueish/purpleish tint was not there. His results seemed to conclude that the color is not caused by the bulb itself, but by the housing. In essence, you will never get the BMW "quality" of color out of any HID kit as long as you are using the ITR housing. Hope this helps, but if it sounds funny, ask him yourself. He's a pretty nice guy to chat with.

The vision ones I heard are a lot cheaper made. They have a starter and a ballast with it. If you want a better look, then get the 6000k. They look awesome. I might look into them once the price on the bulbs drop a bit.

To everyone that recommends the 6000K Philips kit...have any of you tried it? I think I remember Rboosted has but I don't remember anybody else commenting that they've tried it. Anybody have visual evidence of the difference between the 6000K and 4300K bulb?

Check the previous thread for visual evidence. I remember awhile back that a few people have bought the 6000k kit. Don't know where they are now though.
