What aftermarket intake manifolds bolt up to it, i know you have to motify the header.

The ZC head is an oddball d series head so only a zc manifold will bolt to it which kind of sucks. You can always have one fabbed up from the stock flange.

If its an oddball d series head why the hell is my stock d16a6 manifold chillin in my engine? Infact, I believe if you can't go with an aftermarket due to the outrageous prices, you can just swap in a D16y8 mani since its such a good flowing mani. http://www.geocities.com/joeyp....html has the swap info with great pics/details. I plan on doing this swap in the near future, maybe I'll write up an article on it. - Darrell

BTW - I'm also using a 89-91 CRX ie:D15/D16 manifold DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, I think you need to give better sources to your info before you post and lead others into wrong directions. I'm not trying to be a dick, just giving some friendly advice hoping to help out other members in any way possible

That's good to know, as I'm getting one too and its always good to know of cheap crap to do to the motor.

I read somewhere that the ideal header for the DOHC ZC would be the 88-89 teg upper and 88-91 Civic/CRX downpipe (specifically for DC Sports 4-2-1)

I even went so far as to buy this combination for my ZC CRX. Worked fine but I couldn't help but think a ported Civic mani would've performed just as well.
