d-series motor setup

Default d-series motor setup

i just want your input if this would be a good combination for my dseries setup, im planning to use a d16a6 block with d16a1 pistions so it could boost up the compression, then make a mini me out of it with a z6 head probally with a cam, i/h/e so has this setup been made???? well if it has sorry for a re post so if anyone has seen one or at least give me an idea to what the motor could put out thanx in advanced

ok you'll be running at least 13:1 comp. you got high octane?

Are you sure about that? That is pretty high, there is a website which will give you the c/r of several diff. setups. I dont have it on my laptop, but I have it on my desktop at home, which I will go to tomorrow. If you do have a 13:1 c/r then it is the A1 pistons that would be doing that. If you put at Y8 head you will probably be in the 14s, ouch.

don't change pistons, why bump up your compression are you gonna run boost or stay n/a?

I wouldn't run anything less than 92. When are we gona get that 100 octane pump gas that they have over in Japan??? christ...
