'90 Accord, won't start
Just bought a '90 Accord off my Dad two months ago. He had the distributor replaced just a month or so before he sold it to me. Last weekend, the wife was heading to work and it just shut off on her. The Check Engine Light came on. A few minutes later it started for her. When I have been able to get it running, it shuts off after 20-45 minutes. It would then take a while before it would start up again. Now it won't start at all. The CEL is flashing code 14 for the IAC valve. That's $275 at the parts stores so I replaced it with one from the local parts yard. Still won't start. Still flashes code 14. I also replaced the main relay thinking that was it. Still won't start and is still flashing code 14. Any one have any ideas? Thanks!

I had the same kind of problem, Make sure you have fuel and if no spark, I replaced the Main relay under the dash and that fixed it. I read somewher that they become intermited and just crap out on ya.
