will a d15b7 axel from a 92-95 hatch work with the 88-91 crx Si?

I doubt it. And by the way, it's "Axle" not "Axel". Axel is a singer, not a car part.

But obviously he got his point across right? The reason you can't use those is their length. They are too short or long, not sure which. Also the spline count on the ends of them might be different. - Darrell
