local rice shop opening, "Revhard Automotive"
The guy used to have a shop here in CR, but got basically chased out because he ripped people off and fucked up a few cars. So he moved to Cedar Falls (I think, somewhere in eastern IA anyway). Now he's opening a new shop Revhard Automotive ( http://www.revhardauto.com will be up w/in the week according to him). He claims to have NEVER heard of Rev Hard the turbo kit manufacturer, even though his old buisiness, a self proclaimed "Tuner Shop" was open for at least 4 years, and he did turbo installs (none that ran very long though).
CR his shop was named "Fast & Furious" then they shut down and moved (I think to try and loose their reputation) and repoened about a mile away as "Heartless Motorsports" which lasted about 8 months before they had to shut down. I unfortunatly visited both shops (I used to deliver parts for the local Honda dealership) and they were the most disgusting excuses for garages I have ever seen.
I am posting this here in hopes that a RevHard representative will be able to stop him before anyone ascociates him with you. That would be VERY VERY bad.

Have you tried to contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau)? You can call them up and explain to them what those lame bastards are not doing right. Customer fraud is against the law. I am sure they can help get rid of bad shops like those you have there in your town.
wow, there is a shop here in boise called revhard motorsports. they really suck, and are notorious for using zip ties everywhere. lol. noone goes to them anyway.

I think people have gone to the BBB (the reason he moves maybe?). I've never been ripped off by him, I do all my own work

Customer fraud is against the law but the BBB can do nothing about it...report fraud to the police. BBB can do nothing to get the shop out of town, the only thing the BBB will do is notify members within their mailing list and people who read the watch list, that that business has been flagged.
One time on the phone, (at the pizza place where i work) a lady told me she would call the BBB, i in turn told my boss/owner of the store...and he laughed at her and screamed, "LET HER, SEE IF I ******* CARE, LOL", needless to say it wasn't a long phone conersation.
