Does a 96-99 civic Si motor fit a 88 crx Dx?

I have a 88 crx and im getting a 96-99 civic Si motor does it fit my car?

Yes it will fit but:

Depending on which motor it is will determine what needs to be done to make it fit and run properly.

but what will be the most likely i will have to do to make the engine fit. Because i have to take the motor out of the SI wath should i take out?

There was an Si in 96-98?

I'm pretty sure not. They only made a Si from 99-00 in the 96-00 Body style. It will fit just fine all it is, is a b16 that is obd2 do a search. These things have been covered time and time again. You will need mounts and shift linkage.
