I have a b18b engine and I'm looking for a tranny. Is it easier to get a cable or hydro in a crx. the reason I ask is I can get a b16a cable tranny with lsd and mount kit for 500 dollars. Or should I just get the hybro(which is way better I know) but will I have to buy the adapter from hassports to convert. Thats like 200 dollars .

Go hydro...they are more plentiful and easier to rebuild than the cable b16a transmissions. However, the hydro transmissions are more expensive but imo are well worth the extra cost.

Save yourself the hassle of converting if you have a cable one available to buy. I'd jump all over that froor $500.

 

Get a cable ls tranny from a integra (90-93). There are plenty around.
