New Guy. Have a question.
Hi guys. I just bought a 92 Civic Si Hatch 2 weeks ago and i want it to be faster. I kinda downgraded in power alot from my last car (87 RX-7 Turbo) which put down 232whp and 219wtq with boost leaks. So to go from my mid 13 second car to a 15 second car is a rather large jump for me.
Now the car currently as it sits right now has a b16a1 swap with a chipped stock sohc ecu. It has an intake, DC header, enlarged piping with a big resanator to an unknown brand muffler. My question is, what cams would you suggest me to get? Im looking to get a skunk2 intake manifold and a bigger Throttle body so if that changes the type of cams i should get, please tell me.

with cams you first need to know if you are staying n/a or going turbo. if you stay n/a there are a few choices, alot of people run the skunk 2 stage 2 cams, but if you want bigger power the jun3 cams are my own personal fav. for turbo cams some of the best i have seen are the top fuel turbo cams.

CAMS? Here i was thinking that the Si was still a SOHC..
If you are going to swap in a B16a yes, he is correct, otherwise:
ZEX 59300 or the Crower stage 2/3 for N/a or Crower stage 2 boost cam. + full boostkit (pick a brand).

if you read his thread, he says he has a b16a in it......skunk 2 cams are nice ive heard lots of good things about them....there cam gears on the other hand ive heard bad, so go with AEM gears

if you read his thread, he says he has a b16a in it......skunk 2 cams are nice ive heard lots of good things about them....there cam gears on the other hand ive heard bad, so go with AEM gears
