oil in my b16 manifold.
i keep reading thats its normal, people saying thats its from the pcv valve. well i never had this problem before then i swap in thisnew motor and i kept feeling my throttle sticking so i took off the throttle body to give it a good once over and the whole thing is caked in fresh oil.i have a breather on the valve cover so none of thisshit would be re routed back into the intake? my roomate says its major"builds and races chevys" but i keep reading its no big deal? i mean its there for a reason know all of a sudden with this new motor and it wasnt there before so whats going on? what causes it to do this?
yeah i just cannot figure it out.it was so bad i could barely open my throttle.it had all caked on and would open.i sprayed it down with carb cleaner but i havent had a chance to check it out yet. im wondering if that magic sea foam will help out at all.
no boost not yet,not until i can get ,y bar sticker.i have all that **** sitting in my room.i need my bar sticker and then a manifold that TwopointZero scammed me for..i need to figure out all the kinks with this new motor before she see's any boost. and to me this isnt good.

Sorry about that I just kind of guessed you were boosted
So you don't have the PCV hooked to the intake? What kind of substance is it? Oil, carbon??? Try to clean it out and then decarbonize the engine with some seafoam or small amount of water.

there is no hose going from the valve cover to the intake,i have had a breather on there for the last 2 engines so that it would not be re routed into the motor.its not carbon its pure oil.keep em coming guys

Do you have the hose that runs by the injectors ( hooked to the pcv ) and runs to the top of the mani ? If so that's where the oil and fuel are coming from, its all blow by that was in the crank case.
