I found a good deal on a RS*R exhaust that was used on an eg coupe...what do I need to modify to make it fit on my EK HATCH??

It should. Pretty sure it does.

 

Well the exhaust 92-95 coupe will not fit on a 92-95 hatchback due to the exhaust being run different and having different bends. I would suspect it wouldnt fit on an EK hatch without being cut and having it modified to fit.

Also the catalitic (sp) is part of the exhaust manifold on EK ( at least on my 96 hatch) where the 92-95 is not, and would have to be modified there as well.

 

nope you have to modify it, because the EK is a longer car than the EG. plus the headers wont match up with the exhaust. good luck.

Coupe and sedan exhausts are interchangeable on same year Civics, hatches are their own breed. And you are jumping generations AND body styles, so thats a double nope. But not entirely sure on exchanging between years though.

 

My JIC Magic exhaust fits perfect on both my EG and my EK. It just needs a cat/test pipe piece on the EK. On the EG the H22 header runs all the way back to the catback.
