Default D15b?!!!!

I just bought a 90 honda crx hf. The owner said it's all stock. We'll I notice it wasn't stock or is it? The engine is label D15b2. And it's has a MPFI. How much does a D15b2 engine puts out horsepower wise and torque? It's not vtec. On the valve cover it just says Honda Motors. Not sure if it's a 8 valve or 16 valve. But it is really fast on the streets though. I just need more information on it. Any information would help. I did search but got confused with all them d15b engines. . . heLp!

the car might seem fast because its light, as for the motor its a 8 valve MPFI NON vtec motor, the JDM d15b is the vtec one NOT the one u have...

d15b1 and b2 are 16 valve..Both are dpfi..
d15b1 is 72hp and d15b2 is 92hp..Both the same except the b1 has a restrictor plate..

D15b6 hf motor is 8 valve..
Mpfi..like 50hp??

You say it says nothing on the valve cover which would mean its a d15b6 ..but you say it has d15b2 stamped on it..So it should say 16 valve on the valve cover..

Alright it doesn't matter.!! Looking to do a b16a swap. I will be getting my motor from hmotorsonline. Beside the motor + tranny off hmotorsonline. What are the EXACT parts that i would need to make it work to fit into a 90 HF? thanks for the comments on the d15b.

You will need a mount kit and shift linkage (yours will not work) Axles and wiring. If you already do not no how to do the wiring, PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT. And make sure you get an obd0 b16 or you will have to get a conversion harness
