spark plug gap too big consequences

what happens when i accidently gap the plugs too big? bad idle? loss power what else

consequences of that? detonation? serious loss of power?

it's better to have no spark and the fuel just gets unburnt then to have a spark plug gapped too close that it runs hot and will want to pre ignite.

Like they said it will misfire which isn't bad your just will have no power when it misfires
