Hey wuts up guys.
I am here for my brother. He had HID's on his RSx and they went out. He said that one just flat out stopped working. So he went to buy some bulbs for the car. He knows that they are suppose to be H1 but he says that they wont fit. my question is do they make different H1 Bulbs?
And what type of regular bulbs does he need?

If he has the JDM Type R HID housings, then the only blulbs that fit in there are the D2R HID bulbs. HID and non HID housings are different.

H1 is the factory bulb. if u put on HID's, yer either D2R or rebased H1. u have to get that bulb. u won't find rebased H1 HID bulbs at autozone, u'll have to go back to the place that you bought the HID from. either there or ebay.

 

oh ok. Nah but he bout non HID bulbs. He just wanted regular lights. So he said he bout regular H1 Bulbs but he said they dont fit. He called me and asked me if I could find out if their was maybe another type of h1 bulb so I came here because everyone always helps.

 

nah they are H1, just make sure when you disconnect them the bulb part comes out of the socket thing

 

he's prob installing them wrong or something if they don't fit. they do fit if they are H1's.
