Default Interior Question: CRX

I bought an 89 CRX HF for $1500 but most of the interior is missing. I need to buy the door panel and the carpet for the floor (front and back) but does anybody know if the 88-91 EF and other CRX model have the same size? I went to the junkyard but they only have 86 and 87 model CRX and EF.

You need only 89 HF door panels, or any 88 door panels then.

As for the carpet, it should all be the same size, maybe not the same exact pattern though.

So do you think none of the 90-91 CRX or the other SI door panel won’t fit in inside my CRX.

It might fit, but they're gonna have that big ugly hole for the door mounted seatbelts which your car doesn't have.

you should be able to use any 89-91 crx door panels, its the 88's that are different since they didnt have the seatbelt mounted on the door

WRONG INFORMATION WARNING!!!

If you have an '89 HF that was sold in the US, you want to look for any '88 CRX door panels, OR an '89 HF door panel. In the US, the '88s still had pillar-mounted seat belts, and the '89 HF kept them, but the '89 DX and Si, and all the '90 and '91 CRXs, used the door-mounted seatbelts.

I have an 89 HF. The color is sky blue with faded rooftop. The passenger side keyhole is gone but the car runs strong, only 105K miles with original motor. I live near Main Street so I do live near the 905 junkyard. You know the Shell Gas Station in Main Street. By the way, I did checked all those junkyard (about 20 of them) but none of them had an 88-91 CRX. I only found 84-87 (the boxy ones). It really helps if you know other junkyard near San Diego.
