this is kinda dumb question but anyways.. i just put a gsr swap in my 94 ls and i put 4.5 qts of oil in the motor and i'ma not sure how much it is required, cspeed.com says 4.2, gs-r.com say 5.1 so what is is i wanna make sure.

 

an oil change with filter is 4.2 qts, the total amount of oil in the engine is 5.1 qts (it doesnt all come out).....so 4.5 should be fine, thats about how much i end up putting in usually when i change my oil.

no problem! always a good idea to check the level after the engine runs a little too just to make sure!
