Default Lowering a 5th gen...(already searched)

I searched but didnt find much on it. I dont really know much about lowering or anything and what all i would need to get. Can someone answer that for me? Also, can someone explain the camber thing to me?

Here are the simplest terms for you then you can search for some more details later.
When you lower your car you will either need to get a aftermarket shock and spring combo or a full coilover (the company includes their own shock and spring). In a Full Coilover you most of the time get height adjustable meaning you the company sets the spring and shock so it can adjust between i.e. 0-4" meaning you can drop and raise to your liking. Some you have dampening adjustable, rebound adjustable. In a shock a spring combo you usually have a set ride height let's say 2" drop all around. Depending on the shock you can get dampening which is the stiffness and you can adjust that. Some shocks are not like that and just have are set from the company.
Camber once you drop your car your camber will want to either be + or - when it's i.e. -1.5 degrees it means your tires arch inwards of that much degree. If you do not have a camber kit you will get an alignment and it will help for a period of time. If you have a camber kit you can adjust it wether you want it exactly at 0 degrees or a bit more/less.

Btw search there is much better info that what i posted.

So even if you have coilover the camber kit would be necessary to keep it at the setting you make it instead of having the alignment do the job for a short period of time.

Camber isn't necessarily a bad thing. You should have some camber, but you'll need an alignment to zero out the toe. Only reason I put a camber kit on my 1.5" drop is because I plan to drop it further in the future and figured I'd get the installation out of the way.
