Hi guys my name is Brian im from Knoxville TN, i have a 94 civic and 97 ls block GSR head. what mounts should i use to put the engine in???

well i have heard soo!!!! many mixed opinions. A local shop here has told me use integra motor mounts. That in the EX model of my car. It is a direct bolt in. And then a buddy of mine told me that i can use my motor mounts just change the brackets that hold the motor mounts. I just wanted to get some more opinions.

 

You cant use either. Sell the motor, sell the car, and get a miata.

 

haha the motor is an LS block w/ 12:1 compression pistons, Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley throttle body, and a stock GSR head. The engine has never been ran it is sitting in my garage ready to go but i am putting a type R diff in the gsr tranny that i have, and putting new syncro's in it. The car will scoot i dont' want to get rid of it.

 

How sad, you know how to put all that together but not know how to put it in the car. Man there has to be something in the food.

 

well the thing is it is my daily driver. I want to do every thing right and i have a good idea of what i am doing. Until someone comes along a causes me to second guess myself then it screws me all up. I just like getting other opinions.

 

Did your buddy ever do a swap like this before?

 

yeah he has done like 3 or 4 in different peoples cars, and he has a b16 in his 4 door 95 civic,

 

Why not listen to him then, or have him do it, or help you with it?

your tranny mount will fit.......then for the rest u need integra mounts and brackets
