Default No spark help

Ok i have gotten myself so far over my head im about to drown. I bought a Euro R h22a and swapped it into my 98 lude. I know i didnt do enoguh research. I just purchased a OBDI ecu and coversion harness. Before i did this the car wouldnt crank, no spark. i figured it was because i didnt have teh crank angle sensor. But it still wont crank no spark. i checked the coil swapped in a new one, still nothing. i ahve a msd digital ignition and i was probbing my wires to with a test light to make sure everything wokreed i had my coil unplugged from teh distributer, trying to see if it would spark, and had a freind tryong to crank the car to see if it was getting its turnon signal when i probbed the white wire it sparked, tried it again without the test ligth and nothing so grounding it made it spark waht does this mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated ive been without my car for months now.

Have you checked to see if you are getting spark at the plugs? Does the car turn over but wont fire up?

are you saying you tested the coil input wire or the coil spark output? Sounds like you're saying you put the coil ouput onto ground and it sparked..... if so then take your plug wires and put them on the ground and see if it sparks, and if it does then it is a grounding problem on your head, if not then it is a problem with your distributor

Go to msd.com they explain there how to test your msd system. Does you motor turn over? Make sure your plug wires are in the right order. If you have spark going to each plug that means no gas coming in I dont now about injectors but iam sure there might be something with that. As for the msd you grond the white wire with the ignition turn on "dont start the car" there should be a spark coming from your coil wire that goes to the dizzy that you unpluged and placed next to a ground.

Is the wireharness arcing on the motor at all there maybe short? If not the distributor it could also be the computer try put a your ecu in a friends car with similiar swap, u can try to putt another ecu in yur car, or u can also do this with distributor. Also check check ign fuse (15 amp) in the fuse box in the dash and the engine bay ? Hopefully this works or steers u to the problem but if u find the problem please let me know ok?
