im buying a 94 hatch today. i was wondering what is the widest wheels i can put on it?
i was thinking of putting the rims from my 240 on it which are velox vx8 they are 17x7.5 and currently have 225/45/17s on them.

If the bolt pattern is 4x100 then it should fit but the tires might rub especially if you are dropped or plan to drop.

 

4 lug 240's are 114.3. unless they're 8-hole with a 4x100 bolt circle too, they won't fit. i wouldn't go with anything wider than 7" and 205 tire for daily driving

 

they are multi lug.. and its not dropped yet but i plan on it soon. im thinking of just selling these rims and getting some 16" rota's

If you have a hatchie 15in Rota's would be better.
