Default ARC intake chamber and box

ok soo i just got my rsx and im getting things done pretty quik and goin all JDM but the intake i want is a lil expensive..... the ARC , is it worth 650.00 and where can i get it because i can only find **** for like silvias and s2k's but i kno they make it for the 02 and up rsx-s the problem is finding someone that actually sells it rather than shows pictures and teases everyone HELP ME

i only know of one guy who has the ARC intake, and that is akumatose on clubrsx.com
but he never ended up posting any dynos or power figures.

I just put in a mugen. pretty nice intake. the ARC looks like it would get alot of heatsoak. it's made of aluminum.

Nice choice.

BTW, WTF is with the description of the ARC air box in the link..."As the second merit, it gives a quick rise in response to the effect of inhaled air by the rectification." ??????

it's probably translated direct from the Japanese website so it sounds wierd. but basically saying that it gets air from the second filter. There is also the intake tube that you can buy with ARC making the whole thing almost cost 1000. might make more power then then the mugen but I think it will get heatsoak like crazy.

Waaay better off with just a injen CAI imo. Why bother spending like 600 dollars for an intake. When you can get a CAI that isn't prone to heatsoak.

I respect your opinion. but mugen works well and looks good. plus I don't like all the changine the washer bottle or relocate like AEM. I also don't have to worry about hydrolock. Plus I have alot of other mugen goodies to match like my rims.
