alternator question??? odb0-odb1
I have a 1992 alternator on my 1991 Si. The only difference is a few more amps and the alternator pully has one more groove. But the 88-91 civic alt. belt will fit with no problem, just make sure that you align the grooves. Other than that, the alt. is plug and plays with no problem. 96-00 alternators have a different shaped plug, therefore will not work.

Same amperage as far as I know.
It will work if the connectors plug in.
If you get one from a Y8 you get a few more amps, but you will need to splice in the correct connector.

Not to jack the thread or anything. But would i be able to use my alternator mounts from my d15b2 on a d16y7?
And same with the thermostat housing on the back part of the block?
