whats wrong with my car?
so i swaped a multi-point d15b2 in my 91 hf. i used hf injectors, hf dizzy, hf harness, and a d16a6 intake manifold. i got it to start, but it wont rev at all, it bogs down and the only way i can get it to rev is to spray starter fluid directly into the throttle body, and then it goes to about 4k. anyway, i pulled out the plugs and one of them wasnt wet at all from gas, it seems like i either have a vacum leak or im running on 3 cylinders. what could cause this? anyone have any answers?
so its a dp motor with mpfi stuff on it? hf is mpfi if i remember correctly, check your codes, if you're not throwing any, check the intake mani seal, could be a shitfaced motor
check your distributor wiring... the two extra wires you have to add I think are the ones you need to look at, switch them around. I had the same problem, and it was the dizzy wiring
since i used the hf wiring harness i didnt have to hook up any wires, the guy that put the d16 mnifold on used perm-a-gasket, or something like that, cause he didnt have an intake manifold gasket. could that be the cause of my problems?

you NEED a GASKET on that intake manifold, it's only six bucks, dig around in the couch. What do you mean that the spark plug was not wet? Was the car running and it was not wet? If it was running and the others are wet then you are running realy rich, and the car is flooding out. Were you just cranking the car over? If you were just cranking the car over and not starting then yes you are right, you would be running off of three cylinders. Sounds like it could be the tps, or it's leaking air around that permatex and the air is not coming through the throttle body. Get a gasket on there then see if the problem still exsist.
Don't you have to flip some wires on the throttle position sensor plug? Could this be your problem?
*edit* - just saw that you're using the HF Harness. The wiring might still need to be swapped though...I don't know.
